Amara James Aja (he/him/his) is a New York City based actor and teaching artist. A latecomer to the theatrical profession, he received his B.A. in Government from Cornell University before going on to receive his MFA from the University of San Diego/ Old Globe Theatre. As a teacher and performer, he is interested in exploring the continued relevance of Shakespeare and classical performance to the contemporary theatre.
