Rita Liu (she/her) is a Taiwanese movement creator, story listener, and feeling supporter who makes joyful and warm theatrical experiences. Her work often plays with the juxtaposition between movements and text-based soundscapes. Rita believes that theatre can teach us how to listen deeply. Therefore, she is now on a journey facilitating creative and healing workshops with non-theatre people and inviting them to participate in creations. Rita holds a MA in Educational Theatre from NYU, and she is super excited to join Waterwell on a movement adventure with the students!
